BD Alumni Stories NeededTell your story for posterity!In addition to the great events planned for this 50th Anniversary season—including “NATS” IN CALIFORNIA!—the archiving of the history of BD is in high gear! “BD Through The Years” will be expanded as far back as possible to formally document the story of the people who imagined, then created, then sustained the legacy of excellence that is The Blue Devils! Scrap books, newspaper articles and “Jerry’s Big Book” are being scanned into digital format and will soon be available on the website. In addition, a Golden Anniversary yearbook will be published by the end of 2007.
So here’s the chance to share your story! What is your favorite BD memory? How did you become involved? What was is like to be “Inside The Blue Devils” in 1957? 1964? 1976? 1982? Do you remember the “Imp” the first time around? The “Thumbs Up Guy?” The YMI State Open at Buckshaw Stadium? Holy Ghost parades?
We especially need stories from the early years! Don't let those pre-digital 60's, 70's and 80's archives sit empty!
