Who We Are
For over 20 years the "A" Corps "Devils' Pride" Booster Club has been dedicated to volunteering our time, energy and resources to support the Blue Devils "A" Corps. The Blue Devils eat better than any other drum corps (at least that's what the corps members tell us), thanks to the energy and creativity of the Booster Club.
In addition to food preparation, sewing uniforms, and administrative activities, we also do a substantial amount of fundraising. Most of our active membership are parents whose sons or daughters "aged out" long ago, but still choose to support the Blue Devils because they feel strongly about the importance of the activity.
If your son or daughter is a new member of the "A" Corps, and you live in the Contra Costa area, please contact any of us on the list below. We would love to meet you and help you get involved with The Booster Club. We really want you to be a part of this group. Friends who love drum corps and just want to help, even just once in awhile, are welcome too.
We hope that, for whatever reason you decide to join us, you will also grow to love the Blue Devils as much as we do.

50th Anniversary Party & Auction a Success
Thank you to all who donated silent auction items or devoted your time to helping at the Blue Devils 50th anniversary party. Held at the Sheraton Hotel in Palo Alto, everyone seemed to really enjoy the evening. The silent auction items were a hit with all in attendance and many bids were made. With so many stories from alumni and friends, videos of the past and the presence of many notables in the Blue Devil family, no one was lacking for fun. The dinner was wonderful and our auction total was beyond what we'd expected. This money will go directly in support of the Blue Devils and the 50th Anniversary celebration.
SoCal Finals
Who could say more than 1st Place at finals! "Winged Victory" was awesome and lived up to its name. High numbers in attendance means California loves drum corps and supports it. I hope DCI is listening and sees fit to bring finals back in the future. All the California corps benefitted and their fans finally got to see drum corps at the end of the season, at its very best. This was a treat we deserve to have more of.
Fundraising
The "A" Corps Booster Club is also a fundraising organization. We work 49'rs games and Giants games selling beer, hot dogs, soda, nachos, peanuts and popcorn. Over the years our fundraisers have helped fund yearbooks, the annual Finals Brunch, and the send-off BBQ. We supply money for free days, pizza parties, ice cream socials, and popsicle treats, not to mention the ever-popular Gatorade and PB&J at Mars. We supply the unique "Property of" T-shirts and we have been known to help subsidize the cost of DCI rings. We make large purchases like the electric cart, and small ones such as a coffeemaker or food processor.
