Let
the Good Times Roll!
When designing the program for the 'C' drum and
bugle corps, we recognize that most participants are
beginning-level musicians. With this in mind, we spend
the fall and early winter season developing a
technical program for the beginning to intermediate
skill levels.
We strive to choose music that is challenging, yet
fun to rehearse and fun for our audiences to hear. We
have experimented with movie soundtracks, cartoons,
oldies, and Americana. This year the corps presents
their variety show entitled "Let the Good Times
Roll!"
Audiences who know the Blue Devils 'C' should
notice a stronger horn line this season, as well as a
more expansive pit and auxiliary section. The battery
section will, once again, impress the crowd, and our
color guard will have a more mature look about
them.
Musical selections will include "Cotton Candy,"
"Minstrel Boy," "The Simpson's" and "Splish
Splash."
