A lifelong percussionist and multi-instrumentalist, Emile marched his first year with The Blue Devils "B" Drum and Bugle Corps in 2013 with the Euphonium section. For 2014 and 2015, he moved to the Front Ensemble where he was a part of earning the sixth-in-a-row Best Percussion Performance Award at DCI Open Class Finals in 2014, and was Open Class World Champion in 2014.
Starting in 2015, Emile joined The Diablo Wind Symphony, where he served as principal percussionist until 2017.
After the 2015 season, Emile started teaching Marching Band locally at Deer Valley High School and Freedom High School, before finally settling as a program consultant at Heritage High School. He continues to serve here to this day. Emile has also lent his talents to Ygnacio Valley High School from 2018-2020 as Percussion Caption Head, where they earned a silver medal for percussion performance in their division with the Northern California Bands Association (NCBA) in 2018 and 2019.
After some time away to pursue other interests, Emile joined the Percussion Staff at Liberty High School for the 2022 Indoor Season, where the program earned a 2nd place finish at NCBA Championships.
In 2021, Emile joined the staff of The Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps in Salt Lake City, Utah. As part of the Admin Team, Emile supported the staff and students overseeing the Medical Team in helping keep the members of the Corps healthy.
Starting in 2022, Emile is returning to BD Performing Arts and is joining the talented staff of the Blue Devils C Corps as a Front Ensemble Instructor. He is excited and humbled that he gets to be a part in guiding the future of this activity.
In his spare time, Emile loves to volunteer his time to his church, where he teaches lessons with missionaries, and helps guide and inspire the youth. He also loves to ride motorcycles, pet dogs, and spend time with those he loves.
