RIP David Holtzer

The entire Blue Devil family is saddened to report that alumnus David Holtzer passed away on May 11, 2011, from complications of a brain aneurysm. David was 30 years old.

David was a member of the “C” Corps from 1990-1993, the “B” Corps from 1994-1997, and the “A” Corps in 1998.

His many friends remember David as “the most kind hearted, easy going person you would ever meet. You couldn’t help but like the young man as soon as you met him. He was always there to help a friend and never had an enemy his whole life”.

David’s father Dan was a driver for the Blue Devils during the 90’s, when his son was a member of the A corps, and never missed a performance.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday May 21st at Legends located at 4050 Port Chicago Hwy, in Concord, at 11:00 AM.

To David’s family and friend, we are truly sorry for your loss.

Rest in Peace David.
